Taide Riley-Hunte, BSc (Hons),MScMBPsS

Senior Assistant Psychologist.

Taide is a member of the British Psychological Society, having graduated from Kingston University with a BSc., (2:1) Hons in Psychology with Creative Writing and a MSc in Child Psychology (distinction). She is jointly supervised by RHPC's senior management, including Beverley Drakes, Consultant Educational Psychologist.   

Taide is interested in both the clinical and educational applications of psychology and enjoys working in multidisciplinary teams with other therapeutic clinicians. She is a firm believer that all childtren should have equal access to quality education that caters to their specific needs.

Taide has worked therapeutically with infants, children and adolescents with a range of difficulties such as Autism/Asperger Syndrome, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Developmental Delay, Auditory Processing Disorder, Dyslexia and Speech and Language delay. She is a highly competent assessor and has been trained to administer a wide range of cognitive, attainment and psychometric psychological assessments. Additionally, she has post-graduate training in TEACCH, PECS, Makaton, Attention Autism, Auditory Processing Disorder, Mindfulness Paws b, ADOS and the Solihull Approach (SA), where she is a trainer of the SA 2 day Foundation cascade training. Taide supervises junior APs and is an excellent trainer in test administration. 

Taide also works in RHPC's Health and Wellness department. Having recently qualified as a level 2, YMCA Fitness Instructor, a pre-requisite for working on RHPC's exciting and highly innovative Osteostrong Program (OS) and other health optimsation services.

Taide enjoys painting, reading and is a published author of poems and children's books. She is the creative synergy behind RHPC's innovative 'Edutykes' service.
